Tanzanian Women’s Premier League: Simba Queens, Jeshi la Kujenga Taifa Queens dominate championship

The matches for the third round of the Tanzanian Women’s Premier League concluded on with a total of five matches played.

Jeshi la Kujenga Taifa Queens (JKT) Queens emerged as the top team after securing a significant victory margin.

JKT Queens secured a resounding victory in their match against Amani Queens, with the host team, Amani Queens, suffering a 0-10 defeat.

This result propelled JKT Queens to the top of the league standings with a total of 9 points and an impressive goal difference of 15, having not conceded any goals.

Following closely behind JKT Queens is Simba Queens, which also claimed a victory in their match against Yanga Princess, ending with a scoreline of 3-0.

Simba Queens is level on points with JKT Queens but with a slight difference in goal difference, having scored 11 goals and conceded 3.

In the other match results, Alliance Girls lost 0-1 to Fountain Gate Princess, Ceasiaa Queens defeated Geita Gold Queens 2-1, and Baobab Queens suffered a 0-1 defeat against Bunda Queens.

The upcoming matches for the fourth round of the Women’s Premier League are scheduled to continue on 9 January.
