The women’s 800m provided another thrilling spectacle as Mary Moraa and Lilian Odira engaged in a gripping duel, with Odira prevailing in 1:59.27.

Mary Moraa’s second-place finish highlighted her strength and strategic prowess, setting the stage for a formidable showing in Tokyo.

Faith Cherotich and Beatrice Chepkoech dominated the women’s steeplechase, securing their places on the Olympic team with impressive performances.

Cherotich emerged victorious in 9:22.28, closely followed by Chepkoech in 9:22.76, ensuring Kenya’s formidable presence in the event at the upcoming Games.
