The AfriSportPro Youth League in Nigeria is down to its 11th and final week of Zonal action, and the tension across all six Conferences couldn’t be higher.
Every goal, every save, every point now carries the weight of destiny, as teams fight not just for qualification, but for seeding in the national playoffs.
Akwa Ibom Conference
Both Blessed Stars and Krane FC have secured their playoff tickets, but the top spot remains undecided.
Krane trails by three points yet holds a superior goal difference. The final match could flip the table and decide who enters Pot 1 for the national draw.
FCT Conference
N-Youth Sports Academy are four points clear and mathematically in Pot 1.
But behind them, Maracana FA and Camp United are separated by a single point.
Their final-day clash could decide who joins the nation’s best at the playoff stage.
Imo Conference
A thrilling two-horse race between Ekomzy Classic FC and OISA FC — both already qualified.
Just one point separates them, meaning the top seed hangs delicately in the balance.
Kaduna Conference
Still wide open — only two points separate the top three sides. Every minute in Kaduna this weekend could reshape the playoff picture entirely.
Osun Conference
Ridyem FC (with an outstanding match) and Ejigbo FA are locked on level points, while Adegbite FC lurks just one point behind. Three contenders, two qualification spots, one last chance.
Plateau Conference
Plateau United Youth have clinched qualification, but the race for the final slot remains fiery.
Corner Flag FA, three points behind, could still top the group with a five-goal swing, if Plateau stumbles.
Meanwhile, Joecass SC, two points adrift of Corner Flag, also eye a last-day miracle.
As the sun sets on the Conference stage, dozens of young talents dream but only 12 teams will march on to the national playoffs.
This weekend will test character, courage, and composure, and define who earns the right to compete for the crown.
AfriSportPro Youth League Where young dreams become national stories.
The AfriSportPro Youth League National Playoffs — A Battle for Supremacy
After 11 intense matchweeks across six Conferences, 12 of the best youth teams in Nigeria will converge for the 2025 AfriSportPro National Playoffs.
The playoff format is designed to ensure fairness, competitiveness, and excitement at every stage:
Seeding System
Each zone produces two qualifiers:
• 1st-place teams go into Pot 1
• 2nd-place teams go into Pot 2
Pot 1 teams will be paired with Pot 2 teams in the opening round, and clubs from the same zone cannot face each other until it’s mathematically unavoidable.
Knockout Format
• First Round: 12 teams compete → 6 winners + 2 best losers advance
• Quarterfinals: 8 teams battle for semifinal spots
• Semifinals: 4 teams compete for a place in the final
• Final: One champion emerges
Designed to reward excellence and inspire opportunity, the AfriSportPro Playoffs mark the next chapter in redefining youth football across Africa.
This system ensures that talent meets structure, building a pathway for Nigeria’s next generation of professionals.
The road to greatness begins soon. May the best youth club rise to the occasion.
