Morocco names squad for upcoming friendlies against Mozambique and Uganda

Morocco head coach Walid Regragui has announced his squad for the upcoming friendly matches against Mozambique and Uganda, scheduled to be played on November 14 and 18, 2025.

The squad sees several key absences due to injury, including Achraf Hakimi (Paris Saint-Germain), Oussama El Azzouzi, Bilal Nadir, Zakaria El Wardi, Zakaria Aboukhlal, and Marouane Saadni.

Morocco finished top of Group E in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers with 24 points, while Congo sit fifth with just one point.

The Atlas Lions have already secured qualification for the 2026 World Cup following their 5–0 victory over Niger on September 5.

Goalkeepers: Yassine Bounou, Mehdi El Harrar, Munir El Kajoui.

Defenders: Jawad El Yamiq, Nayef Aguerd, Adam Masina, Mohamed Chibi, Youssef Belamri, Noussair Mazraoui, Romain Saïss, Anas Salah-Eddine.

Midfielders: Ismael Saibari, Bilal El Khannouss, Oussama Targhalline, Sofyan Amrabat, Nael Aynaoui, Azzedine Ounahi, Elias Ben Seghir.

Forwards: Brahim Diaz, Ilyas Akhomach, Sofiane Diop, Youssef En-Nesyri, Ayoub El Kaabi, Hamza Igamane, Chemseddine Talbi, Abde Ezzalzouli, Soufiane Rahimi.
