The FIBA Foundation is inviting submissions for its Propose a Project platform, to contribute to programmes that are aligned with its vision and mission.
Launched in 2019, the Propose a Project platform’s objective is to continuously enlarge the Basketball For Good family by supporting projects using basketball to address the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and to use basketball as a tool for positive change in their respective societies.
The FIBA Foundation believes that basketball has the power to empower, educate, and inspire youth and facilitates this by implementing Basketball For Good projects around the world.
Supported projects receive financial, equipment, or mentoring support and join the wider Basketball For Good community with additional opportunities for exchange, mentoring, and support.
How to apply?
The Propose a Project application window is currently open until March 1.
Applicants must submit an application aligning with the criteria outlined in the official application guidelines, and provide a letter of support from their respective National Federation.
The applications will be initially reviewed by the Basketball For Good Advisory Committee and the FIBA Foundation Board will make the final selection. Successful applicants will be notified by the end of June.
