The final rosters for Window 1 of the 2027 FIBA AfroBasket were finalised on Wednesday evening in Rades following a FIBA technical meeting. Now, the first eight African contenders are ready to start their race for one of the five places at the FIBA 2027 World Cup African Qualifiers.
From Thursday, November 27 through Sunday, November 30, eight teams split into Groups A and C will play 12 games in Rades, on the outskirts of Tunis, the capital city of Tunisia.
Teams drawn in Groups B and D will begin their qualifying campaigns in Window 2 in February 2026.
