The race for the 2025/26 Kenya Cup title continues to gather momentum following the conclusion of Week 10, with defending champions Kabras Sugar RFC maintaining their strong grip at the top of the standings.

Kabras remain unbeaten after ten matches, registering nine wins and a draw, to collect 47 points. Close behind them are KCB Rugby Club and Menengai Oilers, both on 45 points, keeping the title race firmly alive as the season approaches its crucial stages.

Further down the table, Strathmore Leos sit fourth with 31 points after a steady campaign, while KU Blak Blad RFC remain within reach of the playoff positions, despite having played one game fewer than most teams around them.

The mid-table battle remains tight, with Daystar Falcons, Kenya Harlequin FC, and Nondescripts RFC all pushing to break into the playoff zone.

At the bottom, the fight to avoid relegation is intensifying. Nakuru RFC, Impala RFC, MMUST RFC, and Kisumu RFC remain under pressure, with Kisumu currently rooted at the foot of the standings.

Attention now turns to the next round of fixtures, scheduled for March 14, headlined by a blockbuster clash between leaders Kabras Sugar and Menengai Oilers in Kakamega. KCB Rugby will travel to Athi River to face Daystar Falcons, while Strathmore Leos host Kenya Harlequin in Nairobi. Elsewhere, Impala RFC take on Nondescripts, KU Blak Blad travel to face Kisumu RFC, and MMUST RFC host Nakuru RFC in a crucial battle at the lower end of the table.

With the playoff race heating up and the relegation fight intensifying, the coming weeks promise high-stakes rugby as teams battle for points in the Kenya Cup season.
