Even though they didn’t play on Friday, and having two games left, FUS Rabat secured the third playoff ticket from the 2026 Basketball Africa League’s (BAL’s) Sahara Conference.
Thanks to their current 2–1 record and Maktown Flyers’ third loss in four games, FUS Rabat advanced to the postseason, which will take place in Kigali, Rwanda, from 22–31 May.
They will join two other teams from the Sahara Conference — Al Ahly and Club Africain — in moving on to the 2026 BAL playoffs.
The fourth and final playoff ticket from the 2026 Sahara Conference will be decided on Sunday in a match between ASC Ville de Dakar and Maktown Flyers.
After losing to Al Ahly on Friday, JCA Kings recorded their fourth loss and were eliminated as a result. The Ivorian side will conclude their 2026 BAL campaign on Saturday with a match against ASC Ville de Dakar.
