Morocco have obtained a podium finish at the CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations Egypt 2024 in Hurghada.
A toughly contested 4-3 win over tournament hosts, Egypt saw the Moroccans secure a medal at the continental showpiece that has since between 19 October – 26 October.
Despite starting off slow as compared to the hosts who dominated the most of the proceedings, it was the Moroccans who eventually edged the tournament hosts to secure a podium finish.
The narrow win, concludes the tournament for both the hosts and bronze-medallists who despite finished outside of the top two that guarantee a FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup finish, can be proud of a great showing in Hurghada.
