The first edition of Swahili Esports Champions (#SwahiliEsports) is currently taking place in Nairobi, Kenya. The challenge is being held as part of the NAICCON (#NairobiComicCon2023 #NCC2023), which will end on 19 November.
The competition is being broadcast live on Twitch and YouTube and will be hosted by renowned Kenyan esports player and content creator The QueenArrow.
The competition will feature eight exceptional TEKKEN women players from across Africa.
The event organised by SAGES (Services for Africa Gaming and Esports) also provide an opportunity for professionals from the gaming industry to meet, exchange and share ideas about the ever-growing African gaming and esports scene, with a specific focus on female entrepreneurship.
