Diouf, a two-time CAF Player of the Year, played a pivotal role in Senegal’s golden generation, reaching the final of the 2002 Africa Cup of Nations and the quarterfinals of the FIFA World Cup.
Asamoah Gyan, the prolific Ghanaian striker, not only captained the Black Stars but also showcased his goal-scoring prowess with a record-breaking six goals across three FIFA World Cups, making him the highest-scoring African in the tournament’s history.
