What you need to know
- PSG are currently outside the top 24 in the league phase standings and will be desperate to avoid an embarrassing fall at the first hurdle with only two matches left to spare their blushes.
- City are in 22nd position but will need to pick up points in France or against Club Brugge in their final fixture to reach the next stage.
- PSG are boasting a nine-point advantage at the top of Ligue 1 with the French Super Cup already secured.
- PSG were handed one of the toughest draws of any team in the league phase, having to face Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Atletico Madrid and now Man City, but taking just one point against the three of them prior to this week is disappointing.
