Champions Kenya Police FC on Wednesday announced the mutual departure of head coach Ettiene Ndayarajigie, effective October 29, 2025.
The club praised Ndayarajigie for diligently steering the club to bag its maiden league trophy, and acknowledged his desire to pursue greener pastures and newer challenges, marking the end of a transformative tenure in the club’s football history, which saw the team rise to prominence and achieve an extraordinary milestone, clinching its first-ever league title.
“During his tenure, Ndayarajigie diligently steered the Club to bag its maiden league trophy,” the statement read, highlighting his instrumental role in shaping Kenya Police FC into a formidable force in Kenyan football.
According to the club, the decision to part ways was mutual and guided by the coach’s personal ambitions to grow further in his profession.
“Owing to his desire to individually advance his career and experience, Ettiene requested the Club allow him to pursue greener pastures and newer challenges,” Kenya Police FC confirmed.
The statement emphasized that the club’s management, board, and executive committee all respected Ndayarajigie’s decision and gave their full support for his next move.
“The Club acceded to this request,” the statement added, reaffirming the amicable nature of the parting.
