Team 1.59.30 Attempt and Podium Crasher Ladies emerged victorious at the 2026 Absa Life Nairobi Marathon Relay held in Nairobi on 10 May, with both teams delivering standout performances in one of the country’s fastest-growing fitness events.

Now in its seventh edition, the Nairobi Marathon Relay has continued to grow into a major community fitness event, attracting corporates, fitness enthusiasts, families, and running communities from across the country in a celebration of endurance, teamwork, and discipline.

The event featured teams of six members, with each participant completing a 7-kilometre leg to collectively finish the full marathon distance.

In the men’s category, Team 1.59.30 Attempt claimed the top spot after crossing the finish line in an impressive 2 hours, 7 minutes and 55 seconds, averaging 3 minutes and 1 second per kilometre across the 42-kilometre circuit.

In the women’s category, Podium Crasher Ladies secured victory with a strong finishing time of 2 hours, 31 minutes and 29 seconds, maintaining an average pace of 3 minutes and 34 seconds per kilometre.

Absa Life Assurance Kenya returned as Platinum Sponsor for the second consecutive year, reaffirming its partnership with Fitness With David and its continued commitment to wellness, community engagement, and healthier living.
