MVP Craig Randall leads 2026 All-BAL First Team – see all award winners

Craig Randall helped the RSSB Tigers to the 2026 BAL title while winning the 2026 Most Valuable Player (MVP) award.

The 30-year-old shooting guard headlined the All-BAL First Team alongside Childe Dundao (Petro de Luanda), Donovan Williams (Al Ahly Ly), Majok Deng (Al Ahly Ly) and Mangok Mathiang (RSSB Tigers).

Randall led the BAL season in scoring with averages of the 36 points and 38 minutes per game.

In the Championship Game against Petro de Luanda, Randall shot 8-for-40 from the floor, finishing with a game-high 33 points. He spent the entire game on the floor.

The All-BAL Second Team included Omar Abada (Club Africain), Zack Lofton (Al Ahly SC), Kevin Murphy (Al Ahly SC), Aboubacar Gakou (Petro de Luanda) and Jo Lual Acuil (Al Ahly Ly)

The 2026 All-BAL Denfisive Second Team consisted of David Michineau (Dar City), Axel Toupane (ASC Ville de Dakar), Majok Deng (Al Ahly Ly), Osayi Osifo (Al Ahly SC) and Jo Lual Acuil (Al Ahly Ly).

Mohamed Sadi wins the 2026 BAL Sportsmanship Player of the Year award

Mohamed Sadi of Al Ahly Libya is the winner of the 2026 BAL Manute Bol Sportsmanship Player of the Year Award

The Libyan international, who first played in the league for Senegal’s AS Douanes in the 2021 season, helped his team to a third-place finish this season.

A BAL champion with Al Ahly Tripoli in 2025, the 31-year-old contributed immensely to Al Ahly Tripoli’s third-place finish, averaging eight points, eight rebounds, four assists, and two steals per game. 

According to BAL regulations, the winner of the BAL Sportsmanship Player of the Year award must “exemplify the ideals of sportsmanship on the court with ethical behaviour, fair play and integrity throughout the entire season”.
