Sensational South African Spinner and drifter King Katra has officially joined the Monster Energy family as a signed athlete.
The announcement was made at the Gas Motor Show hosted in Durban from 13-14 June 2026.
The 26-year-old, whose real name is Katlego Mokgoshi, has been spinning since the age of 14, following in the steps of his father who was one of Polokwane’s pioneers in the sport.
With nearly 400,000 followers on his YouTube and Facebook pages, Katra is considered one of the best in Africa, and is celebrated for his daring, high-energy stunts and ability to entertain massive crowds.
On becoming a Monster athlete Katra has this to say, “I feel like this is the best breakthrough i’ve ever had in my life, and being part of the team finally means the world to me”.
