As part of the Villarreal FC Academy international expansion project, Villarreal CF coaches will be heading to Kenya to hold the club’s first-ever camp in the capital city of Nairobi, in collaboration with New Hera Interconnection. This unprecedented event will take place from 28th July to 1st August 2026 at Don Bosco Utume, Karen, Nairobi.

The five-day intensive camp is open to male and female players aged U8 to U19, giving them the unique opportunity to train under the world-renowned Villarreal CF methodology. What’s more, two players from the camp will be selected to participate in an official Villarreal CF tournament in Spain, providing a direct pathway to showcase their skills on European soil.
Additionally, Villarreal CF UEFA-licensed coaches will be holding coach education sessions for New Hera’s coaching staff. Furthermore, a limited number of slots will be opened to external coaches, allowing local coaches to also learn all about the content and implementation of the established Villarreal CF methodology.
New Hera Interconnection specializes in building sports bridges between Africa and the global stage. Currently operating in eight countries and collaborating with over 20 international football schools, the organization has guided over 40 African athletes into professional international environments.
