Egypt and Morocco qualified for the CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations 2027 finals after finishing first and second respectively, in the North African zone (UNAF) qualifiers held in Ismailia, Egypt.
Egypt topped the standings with 9 points following a 2-0 victory over Algeria in the final round. Morocco finished second despite a 3–2 loss to Libya, having already secured qualification before with 7 points.
The final standings for the UNAF qualifiers were as follows:
Egypt – 9 points
Morocco – 7 points
Algeria – 4 points
Libya – 4 points
Tunisia – 3 points
Ghana will host the TotalEnergies U-20 Africa Cup of Nations 2027 finals, which serve as the qualifier for the 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup to be held in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
