What are the CAF Awards?

The CAF Awards are a special event ceremony created by CAF to recognise and celebrate the outstanding African football performers. 

The awards honour both individual performances and collective achievements, highlighting the talent, excellence, and commitment of those who make an impact across the continent. 

The categories notably recognize the best male and female players, coaches, clubs, national teams, as well as emerging young talents.


When and where?

The CAF Awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, from 19h00 local time (18h00 GMT) at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) in Rabat, Morocco.


Presenters and Artists

Beninese artist Angélique Kidjo and Moroccan comedian Oualass will host this year’s CAF Awards ceremony.

As for musical performances, the audience will enjoy shows by Moroccan singer Douaa Lahyaoui, Congolese artist Awilo Longomba, and Ghanaian musician Fuse ODG.

Due to the ongoing CAF Women’s Champions League in Egypt, the winners of the CAF Women’s Coach of the Year, Women’s Interclub Player of the Year and Women’s Club of the Year will be announced at a later date.
