The Kenya Pipeline Company women’s volleyball team, also referred to as The Oilers, have made a strong start to the Kenya Volleyball Federation National League (KVF National League), recording two impressive victories in the opening matches at Nyayo National Stadium.
Fresh from continental action in Cairo where they clinched third position during the CAVB championship, KPC signalled their intent with a commanding three set win against KDF’s team.
The Oilers confidently, with discipline and resilience, controlled the match, winning 3–0 with set scores of 25–14, 27–24, and 28–26.
The team carried the same momentum into the second-round games, where they thrashed a determined Postbank side 3-1. KPC started off well flooring KPC who responded with character and authority, staging a strong comeback with final set scores at 20–25, 25–18, 25–16, and 25–19.

The back-to-back wins underline KPC’s readiness for the season and reflect the team’s championship mentality, depth, and ability to respond under pressure. Their performances also demonstrate the value of recent continental exposure, with the players showing composure, teamwork, and renewed hunger as they return to domestic league action.
The Oilers’ strong opening run sets a positive tone for the matches ahead as they continue their pursuit of success in the KVF National League.
