What you need to know
Arsenal should take their place in the UEFA Champions League (UCL) quarter-finals for a second straight season after posting the most dominant away win in UCL knockout history with their 7-1 thrashing of PSV last week.
Arsenal’s dominant performance against PSV in Eindhoven did not carry over to their match against Manchester United at the weekend. Instead, a brilliant strike from Declan Rice was needed to secure a 1-1 draw in the Premier League.
PSV ended their three-game losing streak in all competitions with a 2-1 Eredivisie win over Heerenveen during the weekend but the title remains a long shot as they sit eight points behind leaders Ajax.
PSV have conceded over two goals per game on average while keeping no clean sheets across their last 15 UCL away games.
Arsenal’s success in Europe this season has largely come from their imperious home form which has seen them win four-straight UCL matches here without conceding
