Fiorentina’s Artemio Franchi Stadium hosted the Spaghetti Bowl – an American football game played between the United States armed services’ Fifth Army and Twelfth Air Force – in 1945 during the back end of World War II. The Army side won the game 20-0.
Serie A’s toughest rivalry
Monza and Como have a fierce rivalry in Italian football which dates back to 1967, when the former beat the latter in a decisive promotion play-off match for Serie B. In addition a 3-3 draw between the teams in 1980 ended Monza’s chance of promotion to the Serie A, and violence ensued between the sets of fans.

With 15 UEFA Champions League titles, Real Madrid can legitimately be considered one of the best teams in all of Europe. AC Milan has won seven UEFA Champions League titles while Bayern Munich has won six such titles.
