ESPN

The first live action on ESPN arrives on the evening of Friday 29 November, as the Charlotte Hornets battle the New York Knicks in a group stage game for the NBA Cup (19:00 LIVE on ESPN), followed by an EFL Championship clash between Sheffield United and Sunderland (22:00 LIVE on ESPN).

Sunderland may currently hold second place in the Championship table, but they’re facing a significant issue that Regis Le Bris needs to address as soon as possible.

James Copley discussed Sunderland’s tactical setup and picked out a major weakness that teams seem to be exposing this season.

“The way Le Bris plays, he’s happy for other teams to have the ball,” Copley said. “And that’s okay when Sunderland go a goal up. But when a team is then chasing the game, allowing them to have the ball is a risk.”

Another Championship clash arrives on the afternoon of Saturday 30 November, with Blackburn Rovers hosting Leeds United (15:30 LIVE on ESPN), while the evening is headlined by an Eredivisie match pitting Feyenoord against Fortuna Sittard (21:00 live on ESPN).

Sunday December 1, 2024 brings more action from the Dutch top flight, as Utrecht tackle champions PSV Eindhoven (13:15 LIVE on ESPN), followed by Galatasaray v Eyupspor in the Turkish Super Lig (18:00 LIVE on ESPN), and an NBA regular season game between the Brooklyn Nets and the Orlando Magic (22:30 live on ESPN).

The Turkish Super Lig takes centre stage on the evening of Monday December 2, as Fenerbahce tackle Gaziantep (19:00 live on ESPN), while the morning of Thursday 5 December features an NBA battle between the Miami Heat and the Los Angeles Lakers (02:30 live on ESPN).

ESPN 2

ESPN 2 features action from Week 13 of the 2024 NFL season, as the Green Bay Packers go to war against the Miami Dolphins on the morning of Friday 29 November (03:20 LIVE on ESPN), while the evening features a Belgian Pro League clash between KV Kortrijk and Mechelen (21:45 LIVE on ESPN).

Saturday 30 November brings a Scottish Premiership match between champions Celtic and Ross County (17:00 LIVE on ESPN), followed by another Belgian battle, as FVC Dender face the challenge of taking on Club Brugge away from home (19:15 LIVE on ESPN).

Sunday 1 December opens in the afternoon with a Scottish Premiership match between St. Johnstone and Rangers (14:00 LIVE on ESPN), before the NFL takes centre stage in the evening, with the New England Patriots v the Indianapolis Colts (20:00 LIVE on ESPN) followed by the Philadelphia Eagles visiting the Baltimore Ravens (23:25 LIVE on ESPN).

The NFL continues on the mornings of Monday 2 and Tuesday 3 December, with the Buffalo Bills v San Francisco 49ers (03:20 LIVE on ESPN) and the Cleveland Browns heading to Colorado to take on the Denver Broncos (03:15 LIVE on ESPN) respectively.

Denver Broncos defensive end Zach Allen sustained a heel injury during practice last week, leading to his absence from Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Seen at Allegiant Stadium with a boot on his right foot, concerns arose about a possible long-term absence. However, head coach Sean Payton eased those concerns on Monday.

“We should be fine there,” Payton told reporters. “I’m not going to hit any injuries today. But we should be fine there.”
